The main difference is if you think you're a great graphics site apply for affiliate if you just think you're ok apply for link exchange. I will take several link exchanges but only a few affiliates. Affiliates will be linked the same amount of pages they link me. If I'm on an affie page, so will you, if I'm on every page so will you. I'm lax with the keeping in touch thing.
